JUST BRAKES ANNOUNCES ITS PARTICIPATION IN NATIONAL BRAKE SAFETY AWARENESS WEEK
At Just Brakes, we really do care about brake safety. Just Brakes, in cooperation with the Automotive and Maintenance Repair Association (AMRA) and the Motorist Assurance Program (MAP), is taking a proactive role in the community by promoting Brake Safety Awareness Week in all of our markets from August 27th through September 1st, 2007. During Brake Safety Awareness Week, Just Brakes will offer a FREE visual brake inspection.
MAP’s purpose is to strengthen the relationship between the motorist and the automotive service repair industry through education of both the motorist and service provider, and through the creation of industry standards. MAP works to improve communication and trust between the industry and its customers.
“Preventative maintenance is vital to avoiding brake safety problems,” says Bennett Cloud, President and CEO. “We put our customer’s safety first and that’s why we are encouraging them to have their brakes checked annually or every 20,000 miles, whichever comes first. Brakes Safety Awareness Week is a great time to check your brakes and learn about brake safety,” Consumers may go to www.justbrakes.com to find a location nearest them and call to set an appointment.
Just Brakes originated with one brake store in Bryan, Texas in 1980. Since then, the company has grown to more than 140 stores with more than 900 employees nationwide. Today, Just Brakes is the largest privately–owned brake specialty company in the world, and continues to grow. Our mission is to be recognized in every community we are in as the first choice in automotive brake repair by the retail consumer. This commitment is what has made Just Brakes the Brake Safety Experts for over 25 years.
